MetaDraw Customer Application

The Piping Configurator was created by Bennet-Tec as a custom project using both TList and MetaDraw

The project was created for both Web use and also as a stand-alone EXE desktop application.

The Piping Configurator project allows the user to construct a schematic diagram of connected system components by dragging the elements from the display in the TList ( Tree / Grid ) control and dropping into the diagramming area provided by the MetaDraw control. The user can also drag elements around within the diagram. Piping connections are automatically maintained by MetaDraw, and the length of pipe is automatically calculated.

As the configuration is built, the parts used and pipe length used are updated in the TList dislay, and the project cost is automatically calculated.

Double clicking items in the Stock List highlights the associated objects in the schematic. Double clicking objects in the schematic highlights the associated item in the Stock List.
