The Company

Located in Jericho ( mid Nassau County, 26 miles east of NYC ) Bennet-Tec Information Systems develops flexible off-the-shelf software components for use by other developers worldwide and additionally provides a full range of software development services, creating Windows and Web applications to fit our customers specifications. Vanguard Software develops web based enterprise business decision support systems - including Forecasting, Business Modeling, Expert Systems.

	Immediate Openings:
	Web Developers       URGENT - 2 openings must be filled by 15 March 2012 ! These are permanent positions located in beautiful Cary, NC. Work with a small collegial dedicated team in growing company building enterprise wide web applications for business intelligence and decision support.s - - One opening is potentially suitable for a strong intern       / entry level candidate ( 0 to 2 years ) - - One opening is for an experienced 2 - 5 years candidate BOTH positions offer room to grow to your potential. Regardless of your experience you will receive additional training specific to the Vanguard Software development environment ( very close to JavaScript ). Requirements: ˇ BS or greater in Software Development ˇ Strong JavaScript ˇ Enjoyment of programming and Enthusiasm ˇ Ability to work independantly and in teams ˇ Strong spoken and written English Language proficiency ˇ US Citizen or Green Card Holder ( no H1-B applicants ) ˇ Ability to start by mid March at the latest Additional Valued Skills ( not required but a big plus ) ˇ C++, Java, ˇ MBA or other formal Business Management education ˇ Experience with Business Intelligence applications ˇ Familiarity with Business Modeling, ˇ Familiarity with Statistical Analysis, ˇ Familiarity with Forecasting ˇ Familiarity with SAP ˇ Ability to make clear and enthusiastic presentations and to work directly with clients
	Freelance / Contract Projects Work from home, Students welcome. Bennet-Tec is seeking VB 6 or C# developers to complete the following projects: Contour Map presentation in MetaDraw The developer will prepare a set of VB 6 or C# subroutines and example application to create a contour map withing a MetaDraw control window. Org Chart Tree presentation in MetaDraw The developer will prepare a set of VB 6 or C# subroutines and example application to present an Org Chart style tree structure withing a MetaDraw control window. Graph Plotting wthin MetaDraw The developer will prepare a set of VB 6 or C# subroutines and example application to create graphs of various styles within a MetaDraw control window. This may in fact be handled as multiple projects - for different graph types. 2-D graphic projection of 3-D data wthin MetaDraw The developer will prepare a set of VB 6 or C# subroutines and example application to present a 2-D projection of 3-D Data within a MetaDraw control window, for a given origin and rotation angle. 2-D graphic projection of 3-D data wthin MetaDraw The developer will prepare a set of VB 6 or C# subroutines and example application to present a 2-D projection of 3-D Data within a MetaDraw control window, for a given origin and rotation angle. Developers interested in the above projects should contact Bennet-Tec with their background information, past projects, details of experience with similar projects, and level of familiaity with MetaDraw. Past familiarity with MetaDraw is NOT required but is preferred. Inclusion of commentary on issues to be considered for the project, and project plan will be considered very positively in selecting developers for the projects. 	Parnership / Joint Venture Development opportunities Expert Systems If you have an existing expert system designed for a desktop interface, we would be interested in partnering with you for development of a Web Based Expert System - we can provide a graphical web platform but need someone with knowledge of the subject matter and rule base.

Bennet-Tec is always looking for new talent in the following areas:

• Marketing Staff
  Motivated individuals to take the lead in developing new markets for Bennet-Tec products - In addition to our existing ActiveX components, Bennet-Tec is developing several new end-user products. These individual will help define requirements, seek opportunities and markets, and negotiate contracts with OEM's and marketing partners.

• Technical Sales / Project Managment Staff
  Sales Coordinators / Project Mangers for our expanding contract based services - The individual will be equally at home in sales and technical management. He/She will meet with clients, conduct requirement assessments, prepare proposals, and coordinate the project schedule.

• Senior Technical Staff Developers in Visual Basic, C++, C#, ASP, ASP.NET, and JAVA. We offer senior programmers a great deal of flexibility as well as a chance to work with the latest in Windows technology. Opportunities include both in-house development and client site placements.
  • Create and Support ActiveX and .NET components
  • Create and support end-user Windows and Web applications
  • Interact directly with customers ( primarily by e-mail, sometimes by phone or in person) gathering requirements preparing specifications, providing support
• Entry Level Staff
  Technical support personnel- working with users of our ActiveX controls. This is REAL PROGRAMMING - working with customers around the world who program with our controls in VB, Delphi, C++, Oracle... An excellent opportunity to prove your talents and to develop your problem solving skills. You won't find a better learning environment. (entry level positions may be either full or part time).

• Independent Consultants
  Bennet-Tec frequently receives projects, some may be beyond our current resources. In cases like these we would like to make referrals to qualified consultants, especially consultants familiar with our product line.

All staff will be expected to communicate with client on one level or another and require strong English Language communication skills.
